Pocoskin purports to be a skincare brand and online store that sells face cream and masks. The product, made from green tea extract, is supposed to cleanse and moisturize the skin, retailing for $24.99. Unfortunately, while green tea-based skincare products are very much a real thing, the Pocoskin brand and online store is a fake. Our judgment is that it’s a SCAM — with several red flags pointing to this verdict.

    Is Pocoskin Legit? Nope

To begin with, Pocoskin was only very recently established — on December 12th, to be precise. An online store that young is always a red flag. Furthermore, our friends over at ScamAdviser have awarded Pocoskin a shockingly low trust score of 1/100. At the same time, the website also has a low business ranking of 28.2% and an Alexa ranking score of ZERO.

To make matters worse, there appear to be no authentic customer reviews on the website. There are negative reviews elsewhere however — see the above skeptical video as a reference. More red flags include:

    • The owner of the website is using a service to hide their identity on WHOIS.
    • Difficulty in contacting Pocoskin customer service, i.e., no phone numbers or valid office address. The only available customer service email is support@pocoskin.com.
    • The mission statement and other website features are a copy and paste job.
